About Lorna Vanden Heuvel

I believe everyone has the power within themselves to heal and learn coping strategies for the events that life can bring us in order to live a fully actualized and productive life!

My commitment to you is that I will walk alongside you to help you determine how YOU can best meet the challenges that you face by providing you with a supportive and safe environment that allows you to explore your concerns and develop the skills to address them. My passion is helping others uncover their true abilities and to witness how people put those abilities and talents to work in ways they may have never imagined. What a joy it is to see how one begins to realize his/her full potential and learn a love for him/herself that is worthy of who he/she is meant to be!

I am a Master in Social Work Graduate, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). I have gained 10+ years of experience working with 18+ individuals and couples who are experiencing addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship dysfunction, and domestic violence.

I have worked with a variety of clients, from the homeless to those at an executive level and everyone in between. As such, I meet people where they are and help them to grow, overcome, and thrive – to learn new ways of thinking to change thoughts and behaviors that have kept them stuck.

I am excited by the opportunity of working with you to help you reach the peak of fulfilled living!

“The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.”

Eleanor Roosevelt
